Some people (Hi Pseudo!) know how much I love receiving web cards. I mean, I love the attention and all, but I always suspected that those things were responsible for putting some of my addresses on some spammers lists. I was called a paranoid freak more than once, but it seems I am finally proven right by this TechTV article!
Merci Cla
Hmmm….Hmmm…
You have actually complained that I don’t send you webcards anymore. Granted, by reading the article, I understand that the fact that I actually send the mails to myself first is a useless measure to prevent this kind of intrusion.
This being said, I would like to mention that you are quite aware of the risks of downloading unknown software (if porn keeps popping up on your computer, that has nothing to do with e-cards 😉 ). Furthermore, I would not open an ecard from someone who is not trustworthy. Although, now I might doubt that someone will spy on me, I hope my friends are more trustworthy than that which will keep me from virtual card anxiety attacks 😉
And that’s all I have to say about that!
